I was watching YouTube and saw a few lawnmowers run off HHO exclusively. The HHO was produced using what looked like car batteries. The engines had not been modified, according to the people who made the video.

I was wondering why I haven’t seen anyone powering a generator using HHO. Seems like there would be enough power made by the generator to both make HHO to keep itself going and to have extra electricity left over. But maybe I’m wrong about that. I know I can purchase electrolyzers that produce between 2-4 liters of HHO per minute running off a 24Volt system. They’re for sale on E-Bay. Would a generator produce enough juice to run 2 of these units and would 4-8 liters of HHO per minute be enough to keep the generator running?

Likewise, I have seen vehicles using multiple alternators to power stereo equipment, the type that takes up the whole trunk of the car and shakes the windows with each beat of the music. Makes me wonder if multiple alternators could be used to power several of these electrolyzers in order to run a vehicle’s engine exclusively off HHO. For all I know, adding more alternators would increase the engine’s need for fuel so much that the extra electrolyzers would not be enough to feed the engine. It just seems like a car with more power than it needs, like an older Mustang V8, might be able to spare some of that power to run extra alternators to run multiple electrolyzers to produce enough HHO to run the engine.

Has anyone seen these questions answered somewhere on the web? Is there a reason this isn’t being tried right now?

Yes there is a reason it’s not being tried.

1. It’s technically illegal, You pay for gas at the pump and when you pay for gas you pay something called the Gas Tax, which helps keep our roads nice and smooth and shinny. (Sarcastic) If your using HHO in your car your not paying what your supposed to be paying at the pump for the Gas Tax.

2. Many of the kits out there are just a charged system and most people don’t have the resources, time, money to go out and do tons of research on the subject. Most people are just trying to get to work and home again to make ends meet and provide for their family. So most of the kits out there are some times viewed as scams because they don’t always work as promised. Some times this is because people just don’t understand what it is that is going on or what it is they need to do to make it work. (Mythbusters)

3. A lot of people have tried to label this as perpetual motion and claim that the whole ball of wax is a farce….Hello, go back and read your high school chemistry books!

4. The big oil companies don’t want you to get a truly cheep and efficient system because then they wouldn’t be getting your money any more.

Solution, read my blog….yea I know it sounds like more of the same crap from every other do-it-yourself joe-shmo out there putting together yet another joe-cell. However I’m backing up everything I do with real science and not some buzz words that make it sound cool, look cool, etc…

In response to your first point; you mean to tell us that Electric Cars are "illegal" too, because we Electric Cars Owners don’t pay the gas tax to get ourselves around either? Seriously, where do you get off?

You brag about how much you learned in High School... What did you learn in College?

You’re so quick condemn and insult; but what solutions do you have to offer? With all your obvious intelligence, vast experience, and wealth of knowledge from High School, what new advances in fuel systems,alternative energy production, or high efficiency motors have you invented recently that work better than all that stuff out there that you so quickly point out is just crap…?

This World is in the middle of a dozen or more crisis all converging at once. If you were that intelligent, you would know this enough to stop denigrating everyone around you and start working on some solid solutions of your own to help out.

HHO generators are completely legal, AND there is a federal program to provide users with a tax break.

I have only just started to look at HHO. My question is, can the energy you gain be equal to the energy it took to create the HHO in the first place? i.e. you can’t get something for nothing.

If strictly looking at energy recovered from H2O –> H2 and O2 –> H2O you can’t get more than you put in (electric). It may be feasible for this to affect combustion of gasoline, but I doubt it. What it might do is affect the mw and density of the mixture, and fool the computer into a leaner mixture (risky to the engine).

You are absolutely right, this is how you do it. No need for fancy circuits, just get another alternator and another battery and run the HHO off it.

Most engines have plenty of unused horsepower to spare, all you need to do is hook up a secondary alternator and/or battery to run the HHO off of. This should give you at least another 100 AMP at 12v = 1200 WATT which should be more than enough to generate HHO to power a car. But if not you put another and another..

Each time remember you are knocking at 1200 WATT less than 2HP off the engine. Hardly anything at all for a vehicle with at least 100 HP.

I think there is some kind of ambient mind control crap going on that so many smart people don't see this.

It just dawned on me today after looking at HHO for a few days and you are the first I see that hit on the head and mention there are others - I'm glad.

Need Help. Built HHO and it does work. My problem is that the fuse blows after 2 min. What type of water am I supposed to use. I used well water and it may have too many minerals and might be reacting with it. Will try distilled water. The water turns blue and becomes a solid. What is that? The blue stuff seems to be very conductive and that is what shorting out the unit. The bubbler work fine but need to add additional plates to produce more hydrogen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
