RE: How to dismantle a lattice tower
I think one of the best resources in your quest is to contact a local HAM Radio Club and inquire. Most clubs have experts that can advise you of your goal. This will not be cheap, even with a tower of 100 foot, each segment will weigh more then you alone. There are more experts located at the International headquarters of the ARRL: http://www.arrl.org/ a phone call to them would be advisable as they know everyone in the tower business.
Segment weights and measures can be calculated by using Ham Radio online stores with there expert advice from Sales men who can help you even if your not going to purchase anything.
Here is my local Tower deconstruction outfit, call these folks and ask how to? http://www.lightstower.com/
I also hope your not planning on using an antenna tower for a wind project. Wind loading is barely anything for an antenna tower, putting anything on it will cause deformity and loss of the tower in time.
Hope this helps
