I have been looking into alternative energy for a while now and have come up with multiple ideas that me and others are working on now. I am not going to bore anyone discussing the ideas and products that have come about. What I am going to do is lay out a big problem and a way I believe an inventor can use to get around it.

The biggest problem is not coming up with a product that produces electricity free of charge or runs an engine free of charge. Looking at past patents there are literally dozens upon dozens of devices that can do this. And each and every last one of them have been suppressed. Inventors have even been murdered to keep these technologies out of the peoples’ hands. (see the H2O car for proof of this)

If anyone here invents a product that produces power for consumers without purchasing gasoline or diesel and without drawing power from the power company, your invention will be stopped cold. (the only exception to this rule seems to be products that use the sun, wind, or hydro to produce power) You will not be allowed to manufacture it or sell it. Period. You will be strong-armed into taking a pay off or just to stop what you’re doing. And it will work and you will not be allowed to get your product to market. This is what my research tells me. This is also what I keep seeing time and again. You will see someone on the news who has come up with a way to generate electricity for free or run a vehicle for free, then you will never hear from them again and you never see a product for sale from them. Honda is a prime example of this with their new hydrogen car. At first Honda wanted to lease the hydrogen car and include a home hydrogen unit that would be plugged into your house to produce hydrogen and to refuel the car. But now they are only going to allow a limited number of people to lease the vehicle and only refill the car at a hydrogen station, paying for each gallon of hydrogen. Honda was forced to comply with the status Que. This will keep happening as long as people and companies continue to stay within the system as they seek to change the way things are done. The system is there to protect OPEC and the utility companies and to never allow change. Please look this up for yourself if you don’t believe me. It will not take you very long to see that what I am saying is so if you type ’suppressed technologies’ into your google search engine. Bummer.

But this post isn’t about how it’s impossible to bring a clean, cheap energy producing product to people. In fact, I believe it is very possible to change the world. How do we bypass the system once we come up with a viable product? Simple, we don’t bother using the system at all. We reject it and do something so radical, so right that OPEC and the powers that be should have a very hard time stopping the invention from getting into peoples’ hands.

We should literally give the invention away. Not the invention itself, but a complete parts list and assembly instructions. It should be given away as fast as humanly possible to as many people in as many countries as possible. With fuel prices so high right now there would be a huge incentive for people to take the parts list and assembly instructions and either build it themselves or contract a professional to build it for them. In this way I believe we could give OPEC a fatal virus that will eventually kill oil companies. Good riddance, I say.

But, many of your are about to say, I want to get paid. I don’t want to die poor because I gave my brilliant idea away.

I agree with you, you should make money on your invention. And you can. But forget about making multi-millions or billions of dollars on it. Stay within the system and you will make nothing on it and you might even get yourself killed.

So, if you give it away for free how can you make money to support yourself? The answer is to go into business producing your product from home. If you’ve really invented a product that produces energy for free then you will never find yourself without customers willing to pay you for your invention, one at a time. No, you will not make billions on it, but you will make a nice living for many, many years to come. But you must, absolutely must, teach others how to produce it as well. The reason for creating competition for yourself is to protect yourself from harm. The more people that know how to produce your product the safer you are. This is because OPEC and the government would not be able to bury your invention by killing you. Even if they killed you your invention would continue to proliferate, making it unproductive to kill you in the first place. Get it?

So lets say, for example, you have rediscovered how to make a gasoline engine run off of HHO gas produced by the engine itself, essentially making it possible to drive a car as often and as far as you want for free. Using the above system, The Way, you would contact automotive mechanics and present the parts list and assembly/conversion instructions to them, allowing them to begin converting vehicles in their locations. (Yes, you would show them your vehicle running without gasoline or diesel so they can see you’re not full of crap.) You would ask that they in turn show other mechanics how to do the conversion as well. You go into business converting cars over to HHO quietly and without fanfare. You just do it. No asking permission, no applying for patents. You just do it and leave each and every customer with a parts list and assembly/conversion instructions to pass along to others who may be able to use them.

It’s really that simple. The more people you show how to do it the safer you become. And really, even if you show a thousand people how to do it, do you really believe you will run out of cars to convert or people who need your service? You could directly and indirectly train ten thousand people how to do this and you would still not run out of customers. Everyone needs free energy. There are over 6 billion people on the earth who need it. You will not run out of customers no matter how many you train to produce your product. So don’t be greedy and just do the right thing if you invent an energy producing machine.

I see over a hundred people have read this post but no one has responded. Are you all thinking this mangy character is so full of crap his eyes just have to be brown? This would never, ever work because (fill in the blank)

Great idea. It should work if someone gets a product together.

I don’t think that it is that people inherently disagree with what you have said, but rather that in order to do what you say, you have to have a working model of whatever the idea is that will revolutionize the world.

I was having a discussion with a friend about the merits of stem cell research, and the problems of government restrictions. I said that if it were all that he was touting it to be, then someone should privately do what they believe will work, and then demonstrate the results. If Christopher Reeves had walked onto the set of Dateline NBC and stood next to Stone Phillips, do you think there would have been government restrictions the following week?

The hard part seems to be to create the free energy, perpetual motion, or whatever machine that actually works. Forums like this are interesting for all the people making claims, making web pages that cannot be translated or that have no specifics, or looking for financing, but it is rare (as in non-existent) to see a working model, detailed plans, or a phone number of someone who has actually achieved the claim.

I don’t know if there are "literally dozens upon dozens" of devices that can run an engine for free, but I do know that if there were one, and it was as simple as you make it sound, then I could build it myself, for my own benefit, and enjoy the benefits - as could everyone else. But to date, I have yet to see such a set of plans, or such a working model. Has anyone?

I agree with you - if someone makes such a device, they should make it public. Or get the plans notarized, and then reveal it. It is possible to get the patent after the fact. But I think that first step is still missing.

If you have it, I hope you will follow your own advice.

I have often wondered (as have many of us), if the government or Arabs or whoever, is really suppressing ideas. But I happen to agree with Mangyhyena that it would be in the best interest of the inventor to give such a technology away. Although it would be possible to quietly show mechanics and engineers the new invention, if the conspiracy is true, it would not take long for someone "bad" to find out. Then he would trace the invention and threaten a small cluster of people with the same result.

What I would propose is mass email; everyone knows ten or twenty friends/acquaintances that would be willing to forward a document to their friends, resulting in exponential growth. Obviously anyone with multilevel marketing experience knows that only a percentage of the receivers would forward it on. However there are enough people who like to pass on negative rumors, that one need only to issue some sort of urgent warning, such as:

Finally, a way to eliminate gas prices! Pass this on before the oil companies bury it!

Then again start building it for the locals. That’s what I would do anyway.

I think that in the meantime the "free energy" concept you are proposing is not feaseble on the meantime, however energy costs can be greatly reduced and I would like to propose this idea, which by the way I don´t know if it has already been implemented. Here it goes:

I was just thinking today that a good solution in finding a sustainable and constant source of capital needed to finance the R&D of complex alternative energy projects such as tidal energy for example, is by the creation of an international fund that invests in simpler alternative energy projects that can be achieved in the short run, say a geothermal energy plant or solar panels (which have proven to be very effective in the fight against global warming) and with the revenue obtained in this first stage investment step it is possible to reinvest the money in the second stage investment that consists mainly of more elaborate and complex projects such as the one of tidal energy that I mentioned before.
To further complement my idea of this International Fund, I propose a committee that is composed on one side by venture capitalists, private initiative and Soberan Wealth Funds and on the other composed by Public funding by NGO and Governments. So it is 50% integrated by individuals and private corporations (private sector) and 50% by the public sector. A good melange in my opinion

Unless you have a need or unless the government mandates it will never happen. This is what I like about the internet. Anyone can give their opinion.

The challenge is the status quo and big companies. If I work for a big company why would I come up with a big change or great idea and jeopardize my job?

Six months ago I found the Plasma Converter. The technology has been around for 20 years. You take wet or dry garbage or toxic waste and with a plasma converter produce temperatures that rival the sun, produce hydrogen, a process gas, slag, a stony material and no emissions. With this usage garbage becomes something useful, produces something useful, gets rid of garbage with no side effects. The problem is the waste management people know nothing about power and the power companies look at garbage as not their problem and so lets just keep the status quo and burn petroleum products and coal.

Japan, any island or country or city with limited land have a need and would find this as a great solution.

I just don't share the belief that there is a conspiracy to suppress new ideas. If anything, these past few decades have seen the greatest growth and development of whole new industries despite established interests that might have wished otherwise.

An obvious example that everyone is familiar with is the music industry.CDs are only about 20 years old. Their invention for all intents and purposes eliminated vinyl recordings and cassette taped. Now CDs are being made obsolete by mp3s and file sharing,

At the same time the music industry, a vested interest if there ever was one, has struggled unsuccessfully to put the online music genie back in the bottle.

The same factors would apply to energy if a simple solution was out there. mangyhyena said do a manual install to demonstrate a car product. You wouldn't have to do that. Just put the details on the net if you wanted to share information.
