As a retiree, I read a lot on topics related to hobby farming. Global warming and climate change are topics that are especially of interest to farming in Australia. One site that is quite informative is Eco-Renewable Resources.

I have been trying to work out the price, as there is quite a bit of varience on price difference on Wind Turbine, solar Panel, intelligent regulator and invertor.

Also, I had been studying how to work out the power requirment for general house hold.

I am now looking for information of how to integrate both the wall socket and the alternative energy co-exist. All I know, if I want to replace the hold house including Air Conditioning, lighting, LCD TV, Fridge, Cooker, Microware.. I am talking about 20kWh per day.
And from the Market, I can get some Wind Turbine which can generate 1.5KW, and need about 4 X 12V 100Ah battery for accumulator...

If some one could point me to

Work out the different between kWh to 12V 100Ah.. and all these figures that would be grate
How many solar panel do I need, and what sort of spec.
Also, I know there are some Hybrid regulator, where I can use both Wind and Solar together.. but I don't know how many battery do I need in my power room to back up my usage requirement.....
