Can we run our car with water and gas? Can anybody tell me if the HHO Gas is real, or is it another scam?

A hotly debated topic. The way most of those websites are set up selling ebooks and videos certainly makes it look like a scam.

I’ve been following the progress of someone on another forum using the HHO system. He got his Ford Ranger above 40 miles per gallon, he claims. He just bought a new chip for his truck and is hoping to get that mileage up to over 90 miles per gallon.

Incidentally, he has a video on YouTube where he produces 2 liters of HHO per minute using a 12 Volt system. I am watching him very closely as I think his HHO production system might have real applications for running a steam engine/generator.

According to him this system works. Also, there was a news piece done where the news agency paid professionals to install the HHO unit on the news van. According to that report the van gained quite a few miles per gallon. I’m inclined to believe this works.

This does work, but be aware that the claimed efficiency depends on the vehicle it is fitted to. We have heard of increases of efficiency of 8% to 100%, with the average being 33%. You can also apply this to diesel powered vehicles.

Some say its a scam! The government and the IMF don’t want you to use or even know about water power…but it is VERY real!

I believe if you check with Toyota in Japan you will find they plan to have on the market this year a full hydro water run aut that goes from 0 - 50 in 6 seconds, They are moving forward with this technology and will be one of the leaders. There is also another company in the middle east that is about to starts selling the same.

The technology is there and just waiting those brave enough to get past the big automakers buying them out. Thanks Toyota for leading the way, it sure will not be in America.

GM has a great opportunity to add these type technologies as it is failing and should join with a Japanese car maker and set the stage for the future. They have no where to go but up at this point.

This really just shows ignorance of chemistry. The primary fuel for German jets at the end of WWII was hydrogen peroxide with a small amount of alcohol. In college chemistry, one of my professors did exactly what these devices claim to do and captured the hydrogen from just 1/4 cup of water, channeled it into a long pipe, then ignited it with a spark. The resulting blast was akin to a shotgun going off with a blast that had our ears ringing for quite a while and a flame at least two feet long. There’s no real reason this technology cannot work as hydrogen is highly combustible and easily separated from water molecules with simple polarity reversal.

What is actually happening in these units is a common ducting of oxygen and hydrogen. What results is HHO, or browns gas, or oxy-hydro etc etc. The thing about this gas is that it is implosive-not explosive. And it morphs to the properties of whatever it comes in contact with. Stones and minerals become instantly white hot when a browns gas flame is applied-feldspar changes to moonstone among other things. A browns gas torch setup can weld dissimilar metals and instantly becomes hot enough to fuse whatever it comes in contact with. So, browns gas or HHO introduced into the combustion chamber with a minimal amount of gasoline or ethanol, natural gas, or diesel-creates a dynamic flame front that burns completely, cleanly, and creates only H20 as an exhaust byproduct. An electrolyzer unit retrofitted into a conventional motor burning any type of fuel actually creates new oxygen that is released into the atmosphere where none is consumed. This differs from a hybrid fuel cell design in which oxygen is consumed from the atmosphere to create electricity when introduced to the fuel cell.

There have been several successful inventions, the most noteworthy being different configurations designed and proven by Stan Meyers. This water car war has been going on for nearly a century and make no mistake-every oil company and auto manufacturer has purchased and shelved at least one if not many inventions that would change the entire landscape of petroleum consuming transportation as we know it.

We don’t need to worry about what the auto makers are doing. What we need to do is continue our diligence in creating new products that can be installed in every engine now in use, and each installation is another engine that is not producing noxious emissions but creating more oxygen that our planet desperately needs. People in Asian cities where the oxygen content of the air dips below 10% have oxygen stations on busy city street corners-imagine the impact of all those vehicles emitting oxygen rather than depleting it. That is what this is all about-that and the fact that we are enslaved by the petroleum industry and they tighten the noose every day. Fuel prices are forcing us to alter our habits-no we are not free to move about the country-we cant afford to and still eat. Installation of HHO water fuel kits, and ethanol conversions, diesels running on vegetable oil-these are our weapons against the tyranny of world governments and the deterioration of our god given rights as human beings.

It will take many many years for enough new clean vehicles to be produced to make a dent in the problem. We can take action now-there are billions of engine out there-so make yours clean and tell your neighbors-that is where change begins-there is no one answer-there are many. Every single person in every community is affected by this-and we can all participate in the alternative fuel revolution.

It is a scam. Don’t believe those cheap kits. Wait till the auto makers come up something. Be careful!

I made one these brown gas units and found it simply doesn't produce enough hydrogen to be useful,adding bicarbonate of soda or hydrogen peroxide produces more but you need a constant supply of fresh water and to get rid of contaminated water.

The Stanley Meyer system goes about it a different way,he used high voltage at around 42 kHz which from the video appeared to produce quite a lot of hydrogen.

I intend to build one of these once I can find a suitable clear plastic container.

I made one for my 2000 GMC Sierra 4wd long bed king cab. Historically, I have always gotten around 14 - 15 mpg. After installing the HHO generator, I got 26 mpg. Simply amazing. I was skeptical also, but I am now looking at installing them on my 15 passenger van and motor home, all gas hogs. I did not install any of the other gadgets (computer chips, voltage regulators, etc), just a ball jar with wires and hoses. The money I spent will be made up in one tank of gas. I had an 85% increase - I AM HAPPY!!

I built an HHO reactor myself using some plumbing pipe and stainless steel bolts. I tested the HHO production as they did on the You tube video. It works as far as producing hho. I didn't purchase any plans, I gathered enough info from the various demo's online. I spent around $100.00 on materials (Stainless steel is pricey). I installed this unit on my 1995 Dakota 4X4 Pick-up. I normally get 15 -17 MPG average. I have driven 45 miles since installing the unit. I will have more info as to whether this works or not. I may just be optimistic, but I did notice a small difference in power and the way my truck was running. If this works at all I will be tweaking it to produce more gas and try to get to 50 or 60 MPG. I will reply to this on Wednesday. I will have more data by then.
